Romance Is In The Air Blog Hop!

Image
WINNERS! Congrats to: Debby 236 (also winner of the $10 Amazon card) Zed K Jaime L Thanks so much to all who participated. Sign up for my email list so you never miss a giveaway :) Ah, romance. Is there ever too much in the world? I think not. But I would say that--being a romance writer and all :) To that end, let's celebrate the stuff of love. I'm giving away Kindle copies of my latest title to 3 randomly-selected entrants: Time Travel Goes Retro Modern day Nashville and 1950s Detroit clash worse than an IKEA futon and a plaid Barcalounger when a free-spirited interior designer and a strait-laced automotive engineer find themselves in another time. TOMS-wearing Olivia Haugen and Madras-shirted Kyle Daniels have no idea why they've ended up in 1954 Michigan, but it's probably not because of all the swank mid-century furnishings. Discovering the reason might have something to do with a wily salvage warehouse owner and her not-so-litt...

You know when something seemed like a good idea at the time? Well, readers of my blog know that the cover above is different from the original of this book's release a couple of weeks ago. To wit: Coming up with a book cover is always a tricky proposition, and while I liked the original at the time, I didn't LOVE it. So I had a new one made. And I didn't even need to go back in time to do it.  What do you think? Terrible mistake? Huge improvement? Love/hate 'em both? Leave a comment below (and sign up for my email list if you haven't already), and if you include your email address with your comment (for notification), I'll enter you in a fun contest for a chance to win this swank mid-century modern sunburst clo...

THE Z WORD--Free Gothic Time-Travel Sci-Fi Romance

Image
Gothic Time-Travel Sci-Fi Romance...if that's a mouthful, how about Skiffy-Rom Goth-Com? There's just not an easy way to describe The Z Word .  The Z Word follows Seffy Carter and her longtime friends Gareth, Addison and Lani. The four besties share a past dysfunctional and dark enough to keep them bound together under do-over identities. But like off-brand velour, rends develop in their relationships from the flesh-eating pressures of ending up in 1980, in a Montana desert, surrounded by zombies wearing dated disco duds. Reviewers have used words like:  "The Scooby Gang in Zombieland " "Seriously wicked awesome" "A clusterpluck of craziness" "Alice in Wonderland gone wrong" "Not quite the worst I've read"   "Left me guessing and wanting more" "Part science fiction, part romance, part mystery, part fantasy, The Z Word is all entertainment " Wha...

But everything changes on her 30th birthday when her friend talks her into doing a love spell. Unbeknownst to them, they conjure the spirit of the very same man who once tormented Rose’s ancestor. Why? Because Rose was Corvine O’Dannan in a past life—and her really bad habit of attracting Mr. Wrong still haunts...
