Bella's Next Big Thing

Joan Reeves of Slingwords Blog linked me for a fun Internet meme called The Next Big Thing. Basically authors talk about what they're working on in the future. So here's what I'm up to at the moment...

What is the working title of your next book?

Kiss Me, I'm Yours.  It's the second book after Kiss Me, I'm Irish in the Tennessee Waltz trilogy (former series title was Time For Love). The third book will be Kiss Me, I'm Home.

Where did the idea come from for the book?

I want to showcase my state a little bit so thought it would be fun to throw in a little time travel and faeries because why not? :) Book one brings a heroine from the past to the future. Book two takes the heroine to the post-Civil War era. Book three will involve lateral time-travel :)

What genre does your book fall under?

Paranormal time-travel romance
Which actors would you choose to play your characters in a movie rendition?

Emily is definitely a Zooey Deschanel lookalike.

Liam is toss up between Henry Cavill or Jake Gyllenhaal. I'll let the reader decide :)

What is the one-sentence synopsis of your book?

Sophie Bowen wants revenge on her cheating boyfriend but instead finds herself in another time and place...where women where skirts and men are a whole different breed.
Will your book be self-published or represented by an agency?

Indie published...the only way to fly!
How long did it take you to write the first draft of your manuscript?

Still working on it!
What other books would you compare this story to within your genre?

All of these! http://www.goodreads.com/genres/time-travel-romance
Who or What inspired you to write this book?

The genteel beauty of Tennessee, those that settled here--primarily the Irish-- and the sweet lament of the music.
What else about your book might pique the reader’s interest?
All three books will be linked by the Tennessee Waltz song and how it influences the characters. Listen to that tune. It's so beautiful and just sounds like Tennessee!

Look for Kiss Me, I'm Yours in the Spring of 2013!

Know Thy Neighbor Cover Reveal!

Author Shawn Kristen Maravel is releasing a new book and we get a sneak peek at the new cover! This one brings a new air of mystery and I can't wait to read it!!

Evangeline has already lost everything once. She’s no stranger to reassembling the shambles of her life and trying to make peace with the outcome of the greatest tragedy that she’s ever had to face. But when a life of selling antiques in the Lower East Side proves to be less than enough to maintain her meager lifestyle, she turns to the pages of her thriller novels for distraction.

When a mysterious new tenant moves into the apartment above hers, she indulges her desire for danger and adventure by trying to figure out exactly who the stranger in 6C is. In time, the intrigue about a neighbor she has yet to actually see, isn’t enough to keep her distracted from the threat of having to close down her shop and start from scratch for the second time. Just as she tries to refocus her attention to breathing life back into her business, she meets the handsome stranger for the first time and she loses sight of everything else.

Soon her life takes on the exciting appeal of her novels and she can’t seem to get enough. But as she draws closer to the mystery tenant, she discovers that the danger is real and her life is left in the hands of a dangerous killer

Autumn's Harvest Means Cuddle Monkeys Blog Hop!

What do you love most about Autumn? The turning leaves? Brisk chill in the air? The shift toward the holiday season?

One of my favorite things about fall is that it's no longer hot and humid. Living in the South means a whole lotta sweating! Finally when the temps cool and the wind picks up, I can stop hiding out in my air-conditioned house. LOL

Seriously, people, it's hot in Tennessee. But even hotter, are the heroic cuties who populate the pages of romance novels!

What is your favorite thing about Autumn? What are your favorite Autumn stories? Well, we authors are ready to share our favorite Autumn stories and why we love snuggling in the cold.  *wink*

Starting today and ending on Nov 12th, over 200 Authors and Bloggers sponsored by Carrie Ann Ryan blog hops are sharing their favorite things about those sexy men we know and love.

And while we do that, we are EACH doing a giveaway. Yep. There will be over 200 giveaways on each blog hosted by that Author or Blogger.

But that's not all....

We have THREE grand prizes. You as a reader can go to EACH blog and comment with your email address and be entered to win. Yep, you can enter over 200 times!

1st Grand Prize: A Kindle Fire or Nook Tablet (INT)
2nd Grand Prize: A $50 Amazon or B&N Gift Card (INT)
3rd Grand Prize: A Swag Pack that contains 10+ paperbacks, ebooks, 50+ bookmarks, cover flats, magnets, pens, coffee cozies, and more! (US only)

In addition, my prize will be your choice of my books

Kiss Me, I'm Irish

Time-travel, fiddle tunes, and fairy dust!

OR
Apocalypse Babes: The Complete Series

No mad skillz, no sacred destiny, just a pink tracksuit that will take Seffy places she never wanted to go...

Kiss Me, I'm Irish hero Liam looks a little like this guy:

And Trent from Apocalypse Babes looks a little like this:

Which hero would you like to cuddle with when it's cold outside? (Just in your imagine, yo. The author cannot guarantee you will cuddle with actual celebs)

So leave a comment picking your preferred cuddle monkey, and include your email address so we can contact you. The books are available in Kindle and Nook versions. Also check back on the 14th for the full list of winners.

Now get hopping for more chances to win!
